Raise your hand if you think the light from your on camera flash looks fantastic.
Anyone?
That’s what I thought. This little device will completely change the way you light stuff. First, I want you to slap that flash off the top of your camera. In its place you will put one of these Pocket Wizards.
Next, I want you to take your second Pocket Wizard (you need at least two) and attach it to your flash like so:
Once you’ve done this, you want to put your flash in Manual mode (TTL won’t do squat for you when you’re off camera). From here you can dial in the exact power settings you need.
You are now ready to place your flash anywhere within about a 100 yard radius and fire it remotely.
